La Jolla Music & Arts Guide is an editorial website created to help residents and visitors orient themselves in the classical, jazz, dance, and live-arts landscape of La Jolla and greater San Diego.
Who we are
This site is written and maintained as an independent publishing project. It is not a box office, not a ticket marketplace, and not a membership organization. Our purpose is practical orientation: what kinds of programming to look for, how venues and seasons tend to work, and how to approach a night out with confidence.
Critical clarification — not the La Jolla Music Society
We are not the La Jolla Music Society nonprofit. We do not use their branding, do not claim affiliation or partnership, and do not sell tickets on their behalf. If you are looking for that organization’s programs or membership information, please visit their official channels directly.
What we publish
Evergreen guides to classical music, jazz, dance, outdoor and seasonal events, and venue exploration. We may mention well-known San Diego–area halls for geographic orientation only.
What we do not publish
- Fake showtimes, prices, phone numbers, or invented testimonials
- Claims of exclusive partnerships with presenters
- Ticket sales or reservation systems
